I have back acne and sometimes it comes up behind my neck. I've had this for the past 3 years when it has cropped up. Could there be
a possible deficiency as well.

You are suffering from what Dermatologist call tropical acne. In this condition, pimples erupt on the back and shoulder area which then subside after few days with pigmentation. The treatment is not very complicated. It can be treated with tablets, creams, and soap. Maintenance treatment may be required to cover for recurrence. Please don't apply oil on your head.
