Back and body pains
My mother in law is 60+ years old and is being diagnosed with Diabetes and blood pressure. Last few days she has been in the kitchen and now is experiencing back pain and also pain in the stomach. She said she had also lifted a heavy item in the kitchen which I assume must be the start of the problem. Please advise

Back pain, specially in lower back, starting after lifting heavy wt, is mostly due to back strain or slipped disc. Pain in stomach may be due to taking pain killers or acidity. She should take rest, avoid forward bending, and may take Paracetamol 500 mg tab sos. Vit-D tab can be beneficial. Local hot compress without massage gives relief. If no improvement in 2-3 days, then X-ray back, Corset n Ortho consultation needed.
