Hi,
My baby is 15 months old, i have given him 9 months measles vaccine. Is that includes first dose of MR? Is it necessary to put him vaccine at 15 months or directly shall i give at 1.5 yrs? Difference between measles, MR, MMR? Please response

Hi good afternoon measles have only measles vaccine MR include measles and rubella ! MMR have rubella in addition to MR . It’s always good to give MMR As it covers three diseases total 3 dosages of MMR is advised by IAP so schedule is 9 month , 15 month , 4.5 years to 5 year so that your child get good protection from these deadly diseases. Always give vaccine as per recommendation for maximum protection, if any doses missed then catch up schedule can be followed !! For more detail information Consult your Pediatrician
