Hello doctor, my daughter is 11month old, weight 7.5kg, birth weight 3.01kg, was 7kg at 6month. She is not gaining any weight, giving her 4meals a day with bf on demand. From last 1-2wk rejecting all food, being very tough to feed her. Achieving milestones. My question is what can i give her to put on some weight?? Any health drink kind of. Not started cow's milk.

Plz first try to understand that 7.5 kg weight is not worrying factors as child with birth weight of 3 kg will usually gain weight of 8 to 9 kg in one year of age , also most children will rapidly gain weight upto 7 kg in 4 to 6 months of age then weight gain pattern slows down .
So it is nothing much to worry until child is active, also children not eating properly around one year is quite normal as they become more playful and do not concentrate on food. So generally be patient do not worry do not force food when ur child denies it because then child will develope food aversion , so just try feeding your when he or she feels hungry and playing

You may introduce Fortified infant cereals like CERELAC STAGE 3 (10months-12months age), along with Home made foods like KHICHDI, OATS , mashed vegetables, and for Protein source, you may give Egg white .
Plus you may continue Vit.D till 1year age, and give Iron supplements for at least 2-3months.
Babies may resist taking food at this age, but you need to be patient and keep trying.
Health drinks are usually considered after the age of 2years .
Kindly start her on iron and Vitamin D supplements after consulting with your pediatrician.
Commercially available health drinks are not recommended prior to 2 years of age
