We are travelling by road and are presently in Coimbatore and proceeding to chennai tomorrow, by daughter who is one year old seems to have a hot head all the time, her body seems normal, am kinda worried since tomorrow again we are taking a long travel and she seems irritable for the past two days

Young children have warm forhead. nothing to worry about it (it is because surface area ratio of head to body is high). Measure temperature using Thermometer, if it is less than 100 relax, no need of any antipyretic (medicine to decrease fever). Paracetamol drops 1 ml can be given in emergency if fever is more than 100 and consult nearby child specialist.

Give her crocin drops 1.5ml and see whether it helps. If fever is coming up can give 4to 6 hourly till you show some doctor near by.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Paracetamol drops are available, you can buy those and give about 1.5-2 ml thrice a day. Give plenty of fluids and if you are breastfeeding, suggest you to continue the same. Consult a pediatrician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
