Baby falling
My 8 months baby boy fell from bed this morning..he was crying like anything fr 15 minutes then was ok..but was very dull so took him to hospital..then noticed a soft like bump of medium size at left side of his head above the left ear..gone fr x-ray and the report was normal..gave paracetamol fr pain relief..but that soft bump has not gone yet???is it ok ?when does that bump goes off..

Bump will go off in 2 to 3 weeks,, but nothing to worry, manage pain with paracetamol,

That is a collection of blood beneath the skin resulting from the trauma,and will get reabsorbed in a few weeks time. Ice fomenting for 5 mins done every 6 hours for 24 hours will help. Give paracetamol every 6 hours for 48 hours. Watch for abnormal behavior,sleep pattern changes persistent vomiting or seizures for 72 hours,as signs of brain injuries can appear late at this age.
