Baby demands too much lactation
Hello Dr, I am a mother of 27 days baby. The baby sometimes demands feed for long sometimes nearly upto an hour or even longer otherwise becomes fussy. I produce enough milk. So my concern is whether this will have some adverse health effects. Your advice please. Thanks.

This may be due to stomach pain. The baby may be sucking just for pain relief rather than nutrition. Feeding should last 20 to 30 mins max. Give colic drops like colicaid 5 drops thrice a day for 3 days. Contact again if needed

itis normal . Nothing to worry. Probably you are not getting enough mil, or not sucking. To ensure use alternate breasts, If you are using first right side, then next time , start on left. this ensures complete emptying of breast and more of milk in both breast if baby goes to sleep while on brest , just keep tickling on babies .head or face

Greetings, demand on breast feeding is good for the babies health. So continue breastfeeding . Vaccinate child according to immunization schedule.
