Hello. My husband has lot of acidity problem, every now n then he has to take aciloc, gelocil etc. His diet is good, hardly eats outside but drinks a little every 2-3 days. Constipation is more troublesome- he spends over 20 mins in toilet but not satisfied and so he has started smoking, says smoking helps to pass stool. I am very concerned as he is getting those painful biig baaltod abscess on butt and even near his bowls. It's painful for 3-4 days and then dissolves after puss n blood flown from it. He is not fat at all, wts 70kgs and height 5'8".
Making some changes in his lifestyle, workout in d morning, protein intake, becosule tablets etc. Also thinking to give him saafi.
Please suggest, wat can we do to solve these problem. Any medication, tests u can suggest please.
Many thanks.

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
Firstly it's a misconception that smoking improves the bowel habits.
It doesn't. Smoking has been ,is and will always be harmful to health.
Smoking is not a solution.
Instead of concentrating on a high protein diet, he should be taking a high fiber diet. Instead of alcohol, he should be drinking plenty of water.
Get those boils Checked out by a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management.
Best regards.
