B12 supplement
Hello! I had taken Nurokind fast on my doctor's advice. Is it okay if I switch to Nurokind OD? Both are 1500mcg of mecobalamin. Nurokind fast is not convenient for me. Thanks

Yes, it is completely fine and safe to switch from Nurokind Fast to Nurokind OD. Both Nurokind Fast and Nurokind OD contain the same active ingredient, methylcobalamin 1500 mcg, so the therapeutic effect is the same. The main difference is in the formulation. Nurokind Fast is a fast-dissolving tablet meant for quicker absorption through the oral mucosa, while Nurokind OD is a regular oral tablet taken once daily and is more convenient for long-term use. For most patients, especially when B12 deficiency is being treated over weeks to months, there is no clinically significant difference in effectiveness between the two. As long as you take Nurokind OD once daily after food, it will adequately maintain your vitamin B12 levels. Switching for convenience will not reduce the benefit, and no additional precautions are needed. Good luck! Do contact in case of any queries.

Sure, you can change it. Also after taking it daily for around 2-3 months, you can decrease the dosage, after consultation with a physician.
