B/l grade1 varicocele
Hii I m 35 yr old male ...I got diagnosed 2 yrs back with b/ l grade 1 varicocele on checkup and ultrasound ...pain subsided when I stopped gym....i was unmarried at the time of diagnosis so doctor told me nothing to be done........i got married last year...my wife conceived also ..soon after marriage naturally Just now my question is do I need to worry abt the varicocele...I get occasional pain but not severe...it is very much reduced... Do they progress with time ...or become increased in grade

Grade 1 varicoceles do not require treatment as such. Obviously your fertility is intact. However they can increase in size. So followup is required may be on yearly basis.

Not to worry at present, but yes it can progress to grade-2 or 3 varicocele and even cause pain in later life. You should use scrotal support during Gym. Please consult with me online through for more details.
