Hi I just want to understand if she is still on medications? Our target is complete remission; I.e : complete absence of pain without any damage. This is what we try to achieve. For this to achieve; treatment is a long term process. We never try to taper or stop the treatment quickly. We do it over time in a slow process. In case if she gets pain back, we frist try to assess if it’s related to disease or other non specific mechanical age related back pain. So in your wife’s case, she needs to be assessed once again by a rheumatologist
