Hi Doctors,
My husband has been diagnosed with AVN.
His MRI report says..
*vascular necrosis of superior portion of head of right femur involving
45-50% with mild subchondral collapse - Stage III (FICAT and ARLET classification)
*Avascular necrosis of superior portion of head of left femur involving
55-60%. No evidence of subchondral collapse - Stage II (FICAT and ARLET classification).
*Mild bilateral hip joint effusion.
In this case, is core decompression suggested or any other procedure that can help cure this problem? Any suggestions?
