Hi for speech options he definitely needs speech therapy, however he will need to some time to start showing signs of improvement, don't give up. Alongwith speech therapy i also suggest Occupational Therapy for him to work on his sensory issues and any hyperactivity or concentration issues in case he has them. He can improve with the right kind of treatment, and Occupation Therapy will definitely help him.
