These are alcohol withdrawal symptoms. After a long and continue use of alcohol, when it is stopped suddenly, it may show such type of symptoms like hellucinations [false perception(s) where objects are not present], sleeplessness, restlessness, weakness, perspiration, Gastro-intestinal disturbances with high BP, disturbed suger and/or electrolyte level. Along with these, some symptoms are like uncontrolled violent behaviour which patient has not known or understood about that.

Next Steps

Alcohol withdrawal may become life threatening event. So, better to be hospitalised under physician and/or psychiatrist, without waste any time.
