Atypical proliferative serous tumour.
My mother age 54. went through laparoscopy surgery 15 days back to remove the simple cyst which had developed on the left ovary. my mom's period had stopped 10 years.back. After operation doctor suggested to do histopathology report for the cyst which they had removed. and report stated that "Atypical proliferative serous tumour. There is no evidence of invasion in the sections studied". Now doctor suggesting to do one more operation to remove uterus. kindly suggest.

Your Histopathological report is not informative. Get your slides and change opinion to another pathological lab. Also do Ca 125 blood test and an MRI prior to plan of hysterectomy
