My son is 7 months old. He developed rashes all over his body when he was about 5 months old that settled after 15 days of applying Desonide lotion. After a month he developed rashes and inflammation on his ankles, chest and cheeks. He has been prescribed Femisone cream and Tacroz ointment. But it has not cured it.

Hello parent,
Your child's diagnosis as atopic dermatitis without the context of the type of rash, onset of how it started is very vague. But by the symptoms and age of the child it could be either contact dermatitis or an impetigo. Steroids won't help the child for longer and it may progress the disease deeper into the baby system. Sometimes a rash with swelling can lead from simple anaphylactic reactions to nephrotic syndrome which can commonly be affected in babies and children.
Next Steps
please check around the baby surroundings and the dress of the infant whether his skin is irritated to it. if nothing is helping considering a holistic medicinal approach like homeopathy can help the child recover faster as children react to homeopathic medicines within hours without any side effects.
Health Tips
please see to that the child is moderately wrapped considering the out temperatures and keep the child as free as possible rather than wrapping him completely. if your child is breastfeeding continue it without any hesitation so that it can help the baby to recover faster. do not apply external steroidal ointments to the infant frequently.
Homeopathic medicines will
surely help you

Dear parent,
Thank you for sharing your childâs condition â I completely understand how worrying it can be to see a baby go through repeated rashes and inflammation, especially when the results from creams and ointments are temporary or incomplete. Babies have delicate immune systems, and what youâre describing seems to be an underlying hypersensitivity or early eczema, not just a simple rash.
At Health Global Homoeopathy Clinic, we have successfully treated many infants and toddlers with similar recurring skin conditions â using safe, gentle, and effective homeopathic remedies that address the root cause, not just suppress the surface symptoms. Steroid-based creams often provide only short-term relief and may lead to recurrence or skin thinning over time.
You are welcome to check video testimonials from other parents and read our Google reviews to know how many children weâve helped recover fully, without side effects. Iâd be happy to assess your childâs case in detail and begin a personalized treatment plan that supports his immunity and skin health naturally. You can consult me in person or online.
Warm regards,
Dr. Jyoti Kadkol

There's excellent homoeopathic medicine for atopic dermatitis.
You will get permanent cure with homoeopathic constitutional medicine because I had cure many similar cases .
Need more details for proper treatment and guidance.
These ointments are giving temporary relief by pushing the eruptions back, but since the root cause isn’t addressed, they often come back more strongly later.
Next Steps
you need to consult a homeopath who will personalize a remedy based on entire health history (including pregnancy history since your child is just 7 months) and not just skin symptoms
You can opt for homoeopathic treatment for skin conditions as it responds very promptly to homoeopathy. At this age homoeopathy has a much better safety profile. We treat such cases regularly at Dr Palsules Homoeopathic Consultancy at Chinchwad, Pimple Saudagar or even online. For further evaluation and treatment consult online in private with details of the condition.

So for skin usually ointment application may work for few and may not for many.
It sometimes flares up also.
But not to worry ,there's permanent cure in homeopathy.
And homeopathy has no side effects and can be used by new born baby's too.
Consult and clear your doubts.
