Atopic Dermatitis in 7months old kid
My son is 7 months old. He developed rashes all over his body when he was about 5 months old that settled after 15 days of applying Desonide lotion. After a month he developed rashes and inflammation on his ankles, chest and cheeks. He has been prescribed Femisone cream and Tacroz ointment. But it has not cured it.

Your child's diagnosis as atopic dermatitis without the context of the type of rash, onset of how it started is very vague. But by the symptoms and age of the child it could be either contact dermatitis or an impetigo. Steroids won't help the child for longer and it may progress the disease deeper into the baby system. Sometimes a rash with swelling can lead from simple anaphylactic reactions to nephrotic syndrome which can commonly be affected in babies and children.

So for skin usually ointment application may work for few and may not for many.
It sometimes flares up also.
But not to worry ,there's permanent cure in homeopathy.
