Athletes's foot and similar symptoms
My husband is 35 yrs, overweight ( weighs 100 kg), is prediabetic and has fatty lever . He had developed wound in his foot like athlete's foot, which is not completely healing. Today I saw another something on his foot lower side, which is 2 cm diameter, round looks like skin coming off. Is this just foot wounds or could this be indication of something else, or could this be related to diabetes..?

Hi., I can understand your concern. Yes it can be an athlete's foot. Can apply povidone ointment locally. Make sure his sugar levels are normal. If not, need to plan for change of dose.
