At 2.5 how much mcg tablet?
I am taking hypothyroidism tablet from last 1 year (earlier range was 8,5 always and used to took 75 mcg tablets but now my thyroid came 2.5 so how much mcg tablet I should continue with My doctor prescribed this medicine because I have whole body itching issue due to which I have to take medicine on alternate days so to balance hormones I have been asked to continue with tablets)

If you're reduced itching  can take 25 mg  then repeat test after one month

Reduce to 50 mcg and wait for 6 weeks and get another check of all 3 T3 T4 and TSH If all are within normal range, again reduce to 25 mcg and do the same if range is normal. Then you can maintain on 25 mcg.
