Your prescription has virtually almost all medications (except oral steroids) used in Asthma management. I would be suspicious the root cause is ‘chronic sinusitis’ which caused discharge to drip down the back of the throat and in sleep goes down the lungs. Do the following, 1. Check your peak flow every day (for your age and height you should be able to blow 380-450) and keep a record of it. 2. Continue all your current meditations 3. Send your sputum sample for microscopy and culture 4. Consult ENT doctor 5. If ENT give you all clear ONLY THEN, *Blood tests: CBP, Immunoglobulins, alpha 1 anti-trypsin levels, Aspergillus antibodies, ANA, ANCA, serum avian prescipitans-IgG levels *HRCT lungs scan *Treatment trial with newer treatments including ‘Immunotherapy’ and ‘Laser Therapy’ which are available in Mumbai. All the best. www.jgsr-health-education.in

Most probably you are having allergic rhinosinusitis with allergic bronchitis. It is not resolving because you are constantly exposing to allergic triggers such as dust and passive smoking.
Next Steps
You’ll need 1)budamide inhaler - budesonide plus formoterol (or) salbutamol inhaler -use inhaler with proper technique,if you want I can tell you how to use it for effective drug intake 2)Always rinse mouth after taking inhaler to prevent candidiasis infection 2)continue pulmoclear and vonatime 3)avoid allergic inducing environment like dust and passive smoking,if unavoidable use n95 or disposable mask 4)Always drink warm fluids and avoid cold drinks 5)do steam inhalation regularly 6)adequate hydration

From your description: • Persistent cough • Mucus sticking in throat • Sinus congestion • Chest inflammation feeling • Triggered by dust / passive smoking And you are already taking: • Budamate (inhaled steroid + LABA) • Pulmoclear (mucolytic) • Allegra 180 (antihistamine) • Vonatime 20 (likely PPI) This pattern strongly suggests: Allergic airway disease with Upper Airway Cough Syndrome (UACS) ± Early allergic bronchitis ± Post-nasal drip Why this happens: • Dust exposure • Passive smoking • Renovation particles • Pollution • Allergic hyper-reactive airway Your airway lining becomes inflamed → produces sticky mucus → cough persists. This condition is recurrent if triggers are not controlled. It is not infection. It is inflammation.
Next Steps
Since symptoms persist despite medicines: Step 1: Check inhaler technique Most treatment failure happens due to incorrect inhaler use. Use spacer if not using. ⸻ Step 2: Add Nasal Steroid (Very Important) If not already taking: ✔ Fluticasone nasal spray – 1 spray each nostril twice daily for 3–4 weeks This reduces post-nasal drip at source. ⸻ Step 3: Steam + Saline ✔ Saline nasal wash daily ✔ Steam inhalation twice daily This physically clears mucus. ⸻ Step 4: If persistent > 6 weeks You may need: • Spirometry test • Serum IgE • Eosinophil count To rule out: • Allergic asthma • Eosinophilic bronchitis
Health Tips
There is no “one tablet permanent cure.” Control depends on trigger management. Avoid: ✔ Dust exposure ✔ Renovation areas ✔ Passive smoke ✔ Strong perfumes ✔ Incense / agarbatti Use N95 mask in dusty areas. ⸻ Food That Helps: ✔ Warm water ✔ Turmeric milk ✔ Ginger ✔ Tulsi tea ✔ Omega-3 rich foods ✔ Avoid cold drinks, excess curd at night There is no magic anti-allergy food, but anti-inflammatory diet helps. ⸻ Is It Recurrent? Yes — allergic airway disease is chronic but controllable. With proper inhaled steroid + trigger control, symptoms can reduce 80–90%. ⸻ If you tell me: • Is cough worse at night? • Any wheezing? • Any acidity symptoms? • How long total duration? I can refine further. If symptoms continue despite correct inhaler + nasal steroid for 3–4 weeks, you should consult a pulmonologist for airway inflammation control plan before it becomes chronic asthma.

Your symptoms suggest allergic airway inflammation (asthmatic bronchitis) with sinus allergy. Dust exposure and passive smoke are common triggers, causing mucus, cough, and throat congestion. Continue Budamate inhaler regularly, take steam inhalation, use saline nasal spray, and avoid dust, smoke, cold air, and strong odors. Wear a mask in dusty areas. Warm fluids and light diet help; avoid cold drinks and fried foods. This condition can recur but is controllable with trigger avoidance and regular inhaler use. Consult if breathlessness, fever, or persistent cough occurs.

Please share detailed medical history of your symptoms, get complete blood count done to  confirm allergy, share results Avoid foods or substances that apparently precipitate and or aggravate symptoms. Apart from anti allergy tablets, if you have recurrent cold, use fluticasone nasal spray,  whenever you have beginning of cold.

Allergy happens when your immune system overreacts to: Dust Smoke (even passive) Pollution Strong smells Construction dust This causes: Swelling of nose & sinus lining Excess mucus production Mucus dripping into throat → cough Airway irritation → bronchitis-like symptoms You are already taking: Allegra 180 (antihistamine) Budamate (inhaler) Possibly bronchodilator (Pulmoclear?) Vonatime 20 (maybe montelukast?) If you are still coughing, you may need: 1. Nasal steroid spray - very important for sinus allergy. 2. Proper inhaler technique check. 3. Possibly short course of anti-inflammatory treatment (doctor-guided)

This looks like allergy triggered by dust and passive smoke exposure, which can cause repeated cough and sinus discomfort. Avoid dust, smoke, and strong smells, and continue steam inhalation regularly.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly so I can assess you properly and adjust treatment for better long-term control.

Dear Your symptoms are most likely due to allergic airway inflammation triggered by dust passive smoking or pollution exposure. This condition can recur because the airways become sensitive. What you should do Avoid dust smoke and cold exposure Use mask in polluted areas Take steam inhalation daily Drink warm fluids and stay hydrated Medicines that may help Anti allergy tablet such as fexofenadine or levocetirizine Nasal spray for sinus symptoms Inhaler if cough persists Mucolytic syrup for thick mucus When to consult a doctor Persistent cough more than 3 weeks Breathlessness wheezing or fever No improvement despite treatment Most cases improve with trigger avoidance and proper treatment. For further guidance and personalized treatment you may consult me online anytime.
