Are skin lightening creams safe?
I am a 25 year old girl with a darker shade of skin colour. I have been advised by someone to use skin lightening cream. So wanted to know if these creams are safe to use? Do they have any side-effects? Which one is the best to use? kindly guide for the same.

Will that someone treat you if you get a fracture or diarrhoea? Don't indulge in Quakery. Mostly people advice steroid fairness creams which cause a lot of side effects. There can be several causes why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please call me or send photos with detailed history using online consult option for examination and proper treatment.,
