Are my symptoms indicative of TMJ?
Hi. Chronologically symptoms as follows since May22. Had oral sex which left a bad taste in mouth for some hrs. Got done long pending RCT on left side of mouth in June. In between treatment, had a swelling once for 12 hrs in right jaw end (just below ears). Also started feeling pain at both jaw ends while rinsing mouth (now resolved). Around July, pain in  both ears (now resolved). Symptoms since Aug:  occasional headache, metallic taste in mouth (most persistent symptom), tightening of neck muscles, on & off pain sensation in throat, some mental confusion (since jan22) and stomach acidity. I should add that I found my b12 level to be low (17) in july but now at 300 with medicine (but mental confusion persists). I have dull pain in that teeth where RCT was done when I take tea. Lastly, there is no clicking sound when I close my jaw and not much problem in closing/ opening. Is this related to TMJ. Why does my RCT area pain when I have hot tea. Could it be  neuro or STD related issue.

as u mentioned there is no clicking sound on mouth opening, and no issues while normal closing and opening but still u had an history of pain in front of ears get CBCT done to rule out any findings, and as u mentioned u feel pain while having hot beverages in rct treated tooth area, then is not that RCT treated one, another tooth might be carious causing u sensitivity in that area
Next Steps
get CBCT and RVG done

If there is impacted wisdom tooth, get it removed. Pain in both jaw ends with tightening of muscles may be due to disc displacement or dislocation. You have to take analgesics along with muscle relaxants. In severe cases, corticosteroids has to be taken. OPG or tmj views of xray will help to diagnose the problems. You can consult through this for prescription of medication.
