All ages mentioned are completed months. Start Stage 2 after he completes 6 months. Keep quantity the same. Quantity is very personalized. It should be decided by baby's hunger now. Also quantity guide is mentioned on the box
You have to start with aptamil gold 2 , once he completes 6 months of age . Regarding quantity, yes you can increase the amount if he demands more feed . But dilution will remain same , as in if he demands more , add 30 ml more water to that amount that you were already giving and hence 1 more scoop of milk powder.
Though try to decrease his dependency on milk and gradually increase his food intake for a balanced diet.

Typically, follow-on (Stage 2) formula is suitable for babies once they reach 6 months of age. You can begin the transition now, though it's often recommended to do so gradually by mixing it with Stage 1 over several days.
Regarding quantity, as your son starts solid foods, his milk intake may naturally decrease, but you should continue to feed on demand based on his hunger cues.
hi
Yes you are absolutely right 6 month is the correct age to start with stage 2 ..
For quantity depends on your baby demand but you need to consider the dilution its 30 ml water add 1 scoop and accordingly can increase the milk …
Also recommend you to start with complementary food
Once baby complete 6 months of age then start Stage 2 formula. And preperation guidline remain same like boil 30 ml water then let it come to lukewarm level and add one scoop available in packet and stir well (No shaking) .and make in multiple of 30 ml as per baby needs .also start weaning from 6 months of age
