Any side-effects of Peglec powder
My sister motion pass is not clear. Everyday her motion pass is maximum 50% clear. Also many times she has gas. Sometime she has stomach pain. She is vegetarian and doesn't smoke and doesn't drink, does not take coffee. She eats only home cooked food. She eats less food because of gas.  Can she take peglec powder sometimes to clear her motion pass? She removed her gallbladder during childhood so these problems are because of gallbladder not present.

Gall bladder stores digestive juice called as bile, which helps in the digestion fat that is taken in the diet. As your sister has no gall bladder, she is unable to digest fat in her diet, so any fat that she eats, will not be digested, and will produce all the symptoms that you mentioned. To improve her situation she should if possible avoid fats or significantly lower it down from her diet. Other things is she should increase the fibre content in her diet and consume more adequate water. Other issue what she is at risk is fat soluble vitamin deficiency such as vitamin A, E, D as they are not absorbed from her diet. She should take once a month multivitamin injections containing all the fat soluble vitamins.
Next Steps
Consult a general physician or a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and treatment. You should also consult a nutritionist for diet optimisation .
Health Tips
Do not take self medications without consulting a doctor as it will not benefit you and may cause unnecessary side effects.
