It is from my childhood i didn't like to wear specs i thought i was very different and everybody would tease me for it now i am 19 and understand that it doesn't matter but whenever i am in my friends group i feel very anxious it is now for about an year

It is understable that as a child you could not deal with situations when you were teased you felt different wearing specs but now as s grown up your peers also might have matured to understand it's a medical condition and not a choice.
It would be good if you now focus on various positive qualities that you have and your strengths and often talk, express n highlight in group situations. E.g your intelligence, honesty, hard work, good judgement, other hobbies n achievements.
This would increase your self esteem and social confidence gradually.
