I have anxiety disorder. Doctor prescribed me to take risperidone 0.5 mg, Dothipen hydrochloride 25mg, clonazepam tablet 0.25 mg. Is it safe to use. Is there any side effect after stopping it suddenly.

1.Identify the situations or person that triggers anxiety or anxiety like symptoms 2. Avoid such situations and people 3. Keep your self engaged 4. Do exercise walk yoga or meditation daily 5. Pick up hobbies 6. Start some DIY activities 7. Even after all these if Such symptoms start do the following 8. Deep breathing 9. Visualise the person whom you trust the most like your parents siblings or a friend

Risperidone is not usually used for anxiety, however the earlier prescriber might have found some additional features other than anxiety. like irritability and anger.&It may not be cost effective for plain anxiety in the long run because of side effects even in this small dose.The other two are quite safe and can be taken for long periods. If discontinuation is thought of, drugs should be tapered off very slowly particularly clonazepam which should be stopped over at least a period of four weeks at least.
