Anxiety and taking cd3
I am taking medicine escitalopram since 2021 due to panick attack ,tapered the dose from 10 mg to 5 mg five months ago doctor suggested to take 5 mg alternately but symptoms again started to come in winter season so when I visited the doctor again she told to take escitalopram again continuously but with cd3 tablets in day time. But when I started taking cd3 , I feel pain in lower left abdomen and burn after passing urine...so please suggest 1. Should I discontinue the medicine cd3 2. When will I be able to leave escitalopram

Until and unless you take the sessions to help you uncover the root cause of your anxiety it will not completely go away. It will keep coming back in different ways and trouble you. So apart from medication is very necessary to take therapy. Maybe CBT talk about your feelings. We are here to listen to you to provide you techniques so that this anxiety never returns back to you, I will be really happy to help you. You can get in touch with me. All the best.

For query 1. Go for serum vitamin D levels first. If D levels are low then you can get vit D supplements in injection formulation as you did not tolerated the oral one For query 2. It is better to continue last tolerable dose that is 5mg for 3 more months then we will decide how gradually to tapper it off provided you are completely symptom free.

You may stop CD 3 as too much as too much vitamin D can cause toxicity and continue escitalopam for atleast 9 months
