Anxiety and stress
I've been sleeping less than 5 hours every night and my hands are always shaking. I keep getting panic attacks where my heart races and my chest hurts a lot. I start to sweat a lot and breath shortly. My IGCSE Exams are less than a month away and so i don't know how to control my panic attacks and anxiety.

Hi, Good that you are seeking help on this portal. Exams tend to cause anxiety in all students but the severe intensity of anxiety and panic requires special attention. Panic attacks can be very disabling and can grossly interfere with your day to day tasks. They are easily manageable with medications and counselling. As you are suffering from moderate to severe panic attacks, I would recommend that you start medications for the same asap. Integrated treatment method would be most beneficial whereby combination of conventional medicines (allopathy - which will give short term relief during acute attacks) and homoeopathy (which will treat the root cause of the disease thereby giving long term benefits without side effects.) For any further queries, you may contact me via Practo online portal.
Next Steps
It is advisable to approach Allopathic and Homeopathic Psychiatrist.
Health Tips
1) Try dividing your study syllabus for the day into smaller sections. Take a short break of 5 minutes after every section and let the feeling of accomplishing the small section seep in along with a small piece of chocolate. Best Luck.
