You’ve been dealing with anxiety for a long time, and medicines seem to have reduced the intensity, but some anxiety is still present. Earlier symptoms like low confidence, irritability, mood swings, social anxiety, and fear of new situations suggest underlying anxious thinking and avoidance patterns that may still need therapeutic work.
Therapy can help you understand your triggers, manage overthinking, improve confidence, reduce social anxiety, and respond to situations with less fear and panic. CBT and gradual exposure techniques are usually very helpful in such cases, especially when anxiety continues even after medication support.
