Anxiety and low feelings
I have my CA FINALS in Nov'18 I am on leaves these days since last 4 months, in the last 2 months, I have been feeling really weird regarding health and having thoughts like I will die or pass out today. I saw a psychotherapist for the same and he told me that it may be due to my exams stress. My family is really supportive and they try to help but I don't feel like doing anything now, I keep sitting and thinking about the issues and worry about them alot. I have lost 5 kgs as well, my appetite is really low these days. I do not have suicidal thoughts. I sleep peacefully as well. Last 15-20 days I have been feeling like there is a nerve on my head that will just blow, I sometimes feel dizzy and mostly when I get out of the house or I am alone in the house. I cannot focus on my studies due to this. I would like to share that I left smoking (did 4 months regularly) 2 months ago, also, I have a history of bronchitis and Nasal polyps.Would be really glad if someone could help me in this.

You need constant Counselling and Psychotherapy. Do noy stop that treatment if u feel good. But if u do not feel good after receive therapy and counselling then change ur Psychologist. U need medication also. Consult Psychiatrist or Homoeopathic doctor for proper treatment and proper follow up. Do not delay. If u delayed the case then it will get worse day by day.

I undersand your distress. U r probably suffering from performance anxiety . It is quite common in people prior to examination.  Good thing is there are well documented successful treatments for this. And on the other hand , if it is not managed timely it may leads to secondary depression. It is best to seek professional help as early as possible

Hello practo user I can understand the difficult situation you are currently facing in your life. The symptoms are indicative of stress due to examination. The problems which you are facing are manageable. It is advisable that you seek help from a mental health professional like a clinical psychologist who can guide you and teach you coping skills. Regular counselling sessions will help reduce stress. You can try, and practice deep breathing, yoga and regular exercise will keep your mind active and help you. Try and talk to your family members or a trusted friend. Engage yourself in multiple activities as much as possible. For any further guidance you can get in touch with me through the practo app
Next Steps
