I think I'm functional, that is, I'm able to work and do chores. But I am not able to work towards my goals because of sheer inertia. And I have physical symptoms of anxiety like palpitations, tremors and disequilibrium. I've met a neurologist who thinks I have anxiety and need to consult a psychiatrist.

You already know that you have anxiety disorder and have to meet a Psychiatrist. Anxiety Disorders are very common and crores of people in India continue to suffer, but do not take treatment because of ignorance, stigma and myths . I understand the usual inertia in meeting a Psychiatrist. Just find a Psychiatrist near you or get online consultation, and you should expect improvement in a couple of weeks.
