Antipsychotics-Obesity
I am taking antipsychotics and antidepressants as per doctor's advice. Is there possibility to get the man obese while taking that medicines? I am Obese and my erectile function is low. I took TADAZA for 3 months, but there is no advantage. Sperm is not ejecting, I think this is due the medicines I take. Please suggest the solution. I am taking psychiatric treatment from past 17 years.

Hi, You have explained that you have been on antipsychotics and antidepressants, though obesity is a common side effect, there are weight neutral medications or meds that do not cause too much weight gain. As far as the erectile dysfunction is concerned you might have to get a detailed evaluation done. Sugars , electrolytes, metabolic profile, along with a urology opinion and a Doppler. This will give a better idea of what steps to take next.
Next Steps
you might need a more comprehensive and detailed evaluation and management which should be done in a hospital
Health Tips
find a good multispeciality hospital to get evaluated.
