Antibiotics
I am out of the country and had to have a root canal on infected tooth, I was prescribed clindamycin 300 mg for 5 days, I devolved diarrhea and have had it for 7 days. I started running a fever and went to hospital tonight and was prescribed another antibiotic called ciprofloxachina 500 mg for 5 days. My fear is that I have developed C diff colitis and the new medicine will make it even worse. Why did I get this medicine if I already have diarrhea?
