Anti social and hostile behavior.
There's a family member of my girlfriend who has an odd outlook around men who are associated with women he knows in his life, family especially. This individual in some sense like to keep women to himself in the aspect that he doesn't like when men are around his female family members. He acts differently and hostile towards the men even though these women are either married or in a relationship. He was raised by a single mother and is of the age of 60. Iwant to know why this is the case.

Possible reasons are that he has: 1) Strict patriarchal ideas of protecting women and women not talking to any men but heir husbands 2) He has seen some form of abuse against women in the younger years which made an impression and thus create the drive to ‘protect’ them 3) He has trust issues with men again due to the deep rooted impressions from his previous experiences in life
