Ayurvedic herbs are as safe as your kitchen herbs so they don't harm as allopathic medicines but they should not be taken unnecessarily because there is no meaning taking it if your body doesn't need it. normally one doesn't know which herb works effectively on particular symptoms according to body's prakriti so if they are taken with an expert's advise, you will definitely get the best results.
