I have twisted ankle now its swelling and paining a lot whilr walking how long does it take pain to go away.is it requires xray.pain happens only when I walk or twist

It takes 3-6 weeks to get completely normal. Plaster or brace help you to reduce duration. In case of torn ligament ( <1% ), you may need surgery
