Ankle problem
Hi, I have been suffering from ankle pain since last few years. The pain is in the left ankle and it hurts more when I take first few steps after sitting for a long time.  When I'm walking continuously, the pain is tolerable and sometimes I hardly notice it. I've been to few different docs but nothing worked. Few months back a specialist asked me to get some blood tests done and it was found that I have very very low vitamin D. He prescribed some antiinflammatory and multi vitamins along with a vitamin D powder sachet. My question is, if the pain is due to vitamin D deficiency, why does only my ankle hurts, and not other part such as right ankle, or joints? I should mention that I had sprained the same ankle when I was around 10-12 years old. Does the old injury have any connection with my current situation?
