Health Tips
if not resolved, take some laxatives, and for constipation- isabgol 2 tbsp with milk before sleep .
Report says you dnt have any fistula.. from your details it seems you had something like that.. sometimes abscess get brust and the track get heel. Take stool softener.. less fried food.. can consult general surgeon
Your MRI shows no evidence of fistula, no sinus tract, and no pus collection.
This means your fistula is healed and there is no active disease at present.
1. “Area of focal scarring in the sphincter muscle complex (2–4 o’clock)”
• This is normal postoperative or post-infection scarring.
• It simply shows an area where old inflammation or an old abscess healed.
• It is NOT an active fistula.
2. “Otherwise, anal canal, internal and external sphincters appear normal”
This means:
• No fresh tract
• No new opening
• Sphincter muscles intact
• No involvement of deeper structures
3. “No evidence of hyperintense or fibrosed tract, focal pus collection or any obvious anatomic distortion.”
This is the key sentence.
• A fistula tract would show as hyperintense on MRI → absent
• A chronic tract would show as fibrosed → absent
• No fluid/pus → no abscess
4. “No pelvic lymphadenopathy, visualized hips and SI joints normal.”
All surrounding structures are normal.
5. IMPRESSSION: “No evidence of fistulous/sinus tract or obvious pus collection.”
This is a clear confirmation that:
• No fistula
• No abscess
• No sinus
• No active disease
Next Steps
based on the MRI description and your history of only 2 abscesses initially and none after, it is very likely that:
• You had simple perianal abscesses
• The abscesses drained or resolved
• They did NOT develop into a chronic fistula
Any minor tract that might have started likely closed spontaneously — which is common when sphincter involvement is minimal.
The small scar seen is a healed remnant.
Health Tips
No treatment is required.
Just routine monitoring for:
• Recurrent pain
• Swelling
• Discharge
• Fever
• Redness
