From what information you have provided here, it seems that your fissure should heal in 2-3 weeks from now. Some bleeding is expected till the fissure completely heals, so don’t worry. However, it is very important to avoid constipation, both for the next few weeks and even further on in life. Fissures can recur if constipation is not taken care of. Please continue any laxative that your doctor may have prescribed, and make sure you drink plenty of water and have a high-fibre diet. If your fissure doesn’t heal or bleeding is too much, see a surgeon.
