Good evening doctor, my daughter is 9months old am just worried about febrile seizures in future please kindly let me know how to prevent from that and how to keep my baby healthy thank you ( me and my husband in childhood we never had seizure no history in family thank you

Hii.. The febrile seizures s are diagnosis of exclusion. 1st we need complete neurological examination of the child . If it is a case of febrile seizures,your doctor will prescribe you a preventive medicine to give whenever your child is having fever . Also the future seizure frequency depends on many factors. They are quite rare after 5 years of age .
