Me and my boyfriend had sex on the 8th and the condom broke from the side with pre-cum in it. i was on my period since it was from 5th o 9th but i mostly had old blood by than. i took ecp (levonorgestrel) a few hours afterwards and took another dose just to be safe on 12th as well. i had diarrhoea some headache and back pain 4-5 days later and it stopped within 2 days. i ended up having sex again but condom did not break this time on 23rd but i still took ecp a few hours later cuz i was scared.

Don't worry you are properly protected. Only issue is that you can face some irregularities in your next cycle as you have taken so many ECPs.

1. 2nd dose on 12th was unnecessary
2. If you are doing sex that regularly, use regular contraceptive measures like daily OCP or POP or weekly pill like centchroman. ECP's are only meant for emergencies, they have much higher side effects and failure rates. ECP only protects you 90% whereas regular contraceptive measures give upto 99% protection.
