Hello, I understand your concern — having a persistently white tongue along with itching all over the body can be very distressing, especially when no clear diagnosis has been made. Please don’t worry, there are possible reasons we can explore and manage. Advice • Maintain good oral hygiene — gently clean your tongue daily with a soft scraper. • Drink enough water, as dehydration can make tongue coating worse. • For itching, wear loose cotton clothes and avoid hot/spicy foods or harsh soaps that may worsen skin irritation. What to Monitor • Any burning sensation in mouth, ulcers, or change in taste. • Itching severity, rash, or yellowing of eyes/skin. Management White tongue may occur due to oral fungal infection, gastric issues, or nutritional deficiency. Body itching can be related to allergies, liver/kidney conditions, or skin problems. Since you feel depressed due to these ongoing issues, it’s very important to get a structured evaluation with blood tests and an oral/specialist check-up. When to consult immediately • If itching becomes severe with rash or swelling. • If you notice yellow eyes/skin, dark urine, or unexplained weight loss. • If you have persistent pain, ulcers, or bleeding in the mouth. 👉 I recommend a detailed consultation so we can review your medical history and order the right tests. You can reach me directly on Practo or WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven for one-on-one guidance. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

Practice proper oral care. You must use a tongue cleaner. Eat proper healthy food, drink enough water and exercise at least 5 days/week. For itching if it is severe you should see a dermatologist. And if still the issues stay, get bloodwork done.

A persistently white tongue may be due to oral thrush, dehydration, or stomach/liver-related issues, while body itching can come from allergies, liver, kidney, or skin conditions. Since no diagnosis yet, you should get basic blood tests (liver, kidney, sugar, thyroid) and a skin/oral check-up. Don’t lose hope, most causes are treatable once identified, so keep follow-up with a physician/dermatologist. I hope it helps you. If more questions are in your mind, you can reach me for a free detailed consultation on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine.
