Alopecia areata
I myself am a doctor (neurologist), having alopecia areata ( with probably some scarring ) for last around 15 years, having variable sized patches, relapsing course, tried all sorts of treatment. In allopathy had taken short courses of short courses of steroids too. Had partial responses but records again. Not taken any other immunosuppresion. Currently taking l- tyrosine from Richfeel clinic (for probable immunomodulatory role I think). Now having approx 10x8 cm patch in occipital scalp region. Needed an opinion, whether I Shud go ahead with further immunosuppresion or any other option ?

Thanks for posting doctor. I would suggest you go for intralesional therapy with kenacort 5mg, else there is another therapy PRP treatment for hair loss, also u can biotin tabs as a supplement. I hope you see drastic change while taking treatment. Dr kasipathy cosmetologist
