Hi, I want to confirm that is injection is mandate for alopecia areata.i am suffering fsince 1 and half month.undergoing consultation from a dermatologist.just to confirm is it mandate to take injection on scalp. And how much time it will take to completely regrow hair as before without injection.pls suggest.

Alopecia areata is unpredictable in progression and recovery. Intralesional injections are a line of treatment. Since it is an immune mediated condition the results are variable from patient to patient.
