Immunotherapy is a method to desensitize you from allergen which is causing allergic reactions. You need to undergo skin prick test to identify allergens then depending on results immunotherapy is given which is usually given over many months to years. Usually immunotherapy is reserved for severe non responding allergy and for allergic rhinitis steroid nasal sprays are usually very beneficial
