Alcohol Dependency Syndrome
I am 45 yrs old man suffering from ADS, one of my friends suggested me to take Topiramate 50 mg BD for at least six months. He had used it and he is sober now but still he takes 25 mg OD.
Kindly suggest me. Can I take any other medicine with it for good sleep for 8-10 days ? Can multivitamin tablet like Neorobin Forte 1 OD be also taken ? Kindly reply sir.

In milder case, Difficulty in sleep, irritability, bad mood, etc can be seen. In more severe case, tremors, difficult in functioning can happen. However, in serious cases, confusion, disorientation, convulsions, and death can occur. In any case, alcohol withdrawal should be managed by an expert. The medicines mentioned by you are use in management of alcohol problem but should be taken only on advised by doctor.
