My father who already has health issues was advised to leave alcohol but he just doesn't follow it..he did leave it for 10 months but again started it.. His health is becoming worse day by day he is loosing weight but he drinks every week how should we stop him?

Alcohol is highly addictive. The de addiction process needed lot of attention from multiple departments. Means to maintain an abstinence is not that easy. The motivation is not the only thing you should concentrate apart from medicine. The environment and family situation and stressors and peer influence and mental health all r contributors.
