When taking albendazole, do all members of family take it at the same time?
Also, my househelp cooks at my home.
She also has goat at home to look after at her home.
Since she looks after an animal does she and her family including also need to deworm along with us?

Househelp’s own family → usually no, unless symptomatic or exposed in your home.

Yes in most cases all family members should take albendazole at same time to. be given above 2 years of age to be given to house hold help and her family rule out pregnancy especially first trimester

No, not necessary, if family members or others are having symptoms like anal itching or worms are seen in stool, or any one having IRON DEFICIENCY ANAEMIA as they are often associated with worm infection ,then they must take ALBENDAZOLE 400 MG ONCE A WEEK.

First look for worm infection symptoms, then do a CBC and iron profile for IRON DEFICIENCY ANAEMIA, if they are positive, then do a STOOL CULTURE for confirmation of worm infection and then start the medicine.
