After kshar sutra management
Sir/ma'am I had been operated for fistula in ano 4 days back. The procedure was fistulectomy+kshar sutra for 6cm fistula. The operation site has NOT been stitched and I am going for daily dressing. My question is that, is this normal to pain at the operated site now as surgery is completed 4 days back? How long would it generally take to heal 6cm fistula if fistulectomy is done in 3cm and rest is kshar sutra? I m looking for second opinion. Kindly guide. Photograph attached of present wound where surgery is been done .

Hi. If it deep then ask your dr.to stich it. Other wise it take long time to heal .According to it stitches needed.(if dr.not stich it even then no problem but it take long time). Along with your medicine do not eat:- rice, curd
