Hi, on 28th Aug, 2020 my baby has completed 06 months. May I know the diet plan and which kind of milk may be given (any packed food, home made food etc.).
Currently we are giving NAN pro milk powder once or twice in a day.

Weaning is the process of gradually introducing solid food to your little one after 6 months.
You need to start with rice based cereals and try to give it before or after your routine milk feeds.
You may also start with vegetable purees as an add on.
After 6 months the reliance on milk is reduced and giving more milk will hinder hunger for solids.
You may continue to give follow on milk after 6 months, but your priority should be to start giving your baby a balanced semi solid food.
Next Steps
visit your pediatrician for a full chart of what is allowed during this time.
refrain from giving cow's milk.
Health Tips
you may continue with breast feeds or top up formula feeds. Introduce solids in boiled mashed form ( veggies, rice based cereals and fruit purees).
Continue breastfeed till 1 year
Start weaning food excluding top milk .
Consistency is important
Start with liquid gradually increase consistency to semi solid and to solid items till 10-12 months
Give freshly prepared home made food
