My son who is having lot of snoring everyday and suffers from cold, cough and fever when there is slight climate change. One of the doctors told us to get x-ray and see if there is adenoid problem.
Recently we visited an Ent specialist who advised for an adenoid surgery.
I wanted to check is it advisable to go for surgery for a kid of 5 years. If yes what hospital you recommend

If your kid is suffering from persistent mouth breathing, snoring and associated recurrent upper respiratory tract infection then cause may be adenoid hypertrophy. Usually a course of steroid nasal spray can be tried. if it's not working then adenoid surgery is necessary. It is usually safe to undergo adenoid surgery at the age of 5 years
